New alternative domains for Betacraft

Welcome betacraft.ee and welcome back betacraft.ovh as our two alternative domains.

Due to the unstable political climate in the UK, we have decided to take precautions in case our betacraft.uk domain ever turned out to be in danger.

We have not yet seen prosecution against just .uk domains (our host is located in Germany) that fail to comply with the new totalitarian UK law, but it’s the UK so we prepare for the worst. That is why we decided to diversify domains for Betacraft.

It is also nice to not be constantly reminded of the UK when using Betacraft.

betacraft.ee — is under Estonian jurisdiction
betacraft.ovh — falls under French jurisdiction
betacraft.uk (sole domain until now) — is under British jurisdiction

Our picks were chosen by availability, ease of registration, stability and low price.

And don’t get us wrong, we are NOT transitioning domains, the new ones are merely alternatives. We expect to run all three domains simultaneously for an indefinite amount of time.
